Serbian Chess Championship

First Serbian Chess Championship will take place on 4-17th March in Vrsac. City Council has provided appearance fees and 5000 euros for prize fund.

Six Players Suspended

International master Ronald Dableo, who holds 2 GM norms, has been suspended by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines for a period of 1 year. He had allegedly fixed a game in the Malaysian Open. Five others were slapped with 6-month bans...

Gorenje 2007

Chess club "Sveti Nikolaj" from Valjevo is organizing 1st "Gorenje" tournament on May 2007. Promoter will be GM Ljubomir Ljubojevic and the initial list of participants is very interesting:
