In the final round of the Bilbao Grand Slam Masters world champion Anand defeated Paco Vallejo, while the games Ivanchuk - Aronian and Nakamura - Carlsen were drawn.
Carlsen and Ivanchuk shared the first place with 15 points each. The overall winner will be decided after the quick tiebreak - two games with the 4min+3sec time control. In case of another tie, an Armageddon game will settle the issue.
Aronian, Anand and Nakamura share third place with 12 points each, while Vallejo is last with 10 points.
