Seven Samurai. And One Master.

People say that in London to play the FIDE Candidates Tournament, there will be Magnus Carlsen and seven other guys. You know, vox populi vox Dei, as the ancient saying has it, but actually no result is precluded.

Magnus starts this adventure as the favorite, but the seven samurai are super-strong, and the Norwegian genius will have to express all his class to challenge World Champion Vishy Anand in October.

Let's take a look at the amazing line-up: Vladimir Kramnik, Levon Aronian, Teimour Radjabov, Alexander Grischuk, Vassily Ivanchuk, Peter Svidler and Boris Gelfand.

Everyone is going to miss American Hikaru Nakamura and American/Italian Fabiano Caruana, two young and very strong players who would have made this event - if possible - even more interesting.

They didn't qualify this year, but we hope to see both of them in the next FIDE WC cycle! ICC will have LIVE coverage with the games and the radio broadcast.

The ICC Dream Team of commentators will be on the air for every round, starting at 10:00AM ICC time (EDT) - 3:00PM CET - la st two rounds 09:00AM ICC time.
