Chess club "Radnicki" from Cuprija is organizing 2nd blitz tournament in honor of the Serbian chess legend Miroslav Milenkovic Bone to be held on 17th December in hotel "Ravno". Last year's closed event had 22 participants. This time club members have gathered $450 USD for prize fund and made it open to everyone.
In spite of other weekends tournaments with bigger prize funds (Nova Pazova, Cacak, Negotin), we have managed to provide participation of club's friends GM Vladimir Raicevic (2446), GM Milko Popchev (BUL 2413), IM Mihajlo Stojanovic (2556), IM Goran Vojinovic (2461), IM-elect Dragan Stamenkovic (2404) and IM Branimir Maksimovic (2385). We also expect a whole bunch of local players. Report on Monday.
