The 2nd HDBank Cup Open Chess tournament 2012 was held on 1-8th March in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Chinese GM Ni Hua won the tournament in convincing fashion by collecting 8 points from nine possible. Half a point behind is local star and top seed GM Le Quang Liem.
93 players from 14 countries participated in the 9-round event with Swiss pairings.
