The 10th Annual Southern Class Championships were held from March 30-April 1, 2012, at the Wyndham Orlando Resort, 8001 International Drive, Orlando.
The event had 7 sections: Master, Expert, Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D and Class E. All sections were 5 round Swiss tournaments with 3-day and 2-day schedules to play in.
GM Lars Bo Hansen dominated the Master Section, finishing a point clear of his nearest rival, GM Julio Becerra. Bo Hansen won $1083 for his weekend’s efforts.
The event had a $14,000 projected prize fund with $10,500 guaranteed.
