Chess, love and taxes - a mixture of such unlikely ingredients has attracted a Danish chess grandmaster to Lithuania, writes news2biz.
Peter Heine Nielsen, 39, a five-time Danish chess champion (last time in 2008), has set up a legal base in Palanga, in the form of PH Chess, a small partnership.
"I just need a legal base for my chess training activity that I am engaged in internationally," says Nielsen to news2biz.
Regular chess lovers in Lithuania need not raise their hopes high as Nielsen's speciality is top-class players. He is now a second (an assistant in chess-speak) to Norwegian Magnus Carlsen, currently the world's no 1 ranked chess player. Earlier he was a second to the reigning world champion Indian Viswanathan Anand.
