Predeal Open was held on August 12th-18th. The tournament is part of the big Romanian Grand Prix. GMs Gleizerov, Sveshnikov and Ulibin are tied on first among 174 participants. Competition was extremely strong, seeing IMs finishing on 50% or bellow.
Next Grand Prix event, The International Chess Festival "M. Sadoveanu", is starting tomorrow in Iasi.
