GM Alexander Riazantsev: I sometimes get the feeling during a game that something looks like a computer move! Especially when playing against the Chinese and Indians – they have a very special way of thinking. They are practical, quick, and a bit cheeky. They are also very well prepared psychologically – it is difficult to read what they think about the position.
Quick and practical play often produces better results than one could expect. If a Chinese player does not see any danger, he will certainly accept a sacrifice, while others may begin to doubt, start recalculating, and lose confidence.
