5th Rapid Chess Championship of Serbia was held on 15th-16th December in Cacak. 9 rounds have been played with time control of 30 minutes and prize fund of $3700 USD.

Most of the players from Cacak have to moved to Nova Pazova on the next day December 17th for another rapid tournament with time control of 15 minutes. The only exception was IM Zoran Novoselski, who came to Cuprija to win our blitz tournament.
